About Us

The Summer Beach Hop began in 2019 when local event organisers JLE thought there was a need for a retro music festival in the city of Coffs Harbour.  With the amount of event experience available to organisers via their association with events like World Rally 2011-2019, Coffs Harbour International Buskers  Festival 2000-2020, major concerts such as Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, etc  the thought was raised , why not put on a retro music & classic car event/festival?

The first event ran in 2019 and as we head towards 2026 that will be our 7th event.

The program will feature 2 days of fun, music, dancing, cars, get togethers & good times.

Live music/ Over classic cars/ Dance Display / Show n Shine / Full Sunday community market 80+ stalls with food, local produce, bric a brac, gifts, jewellery, coffee, shaded sit down area /Dancing (larger dance floor installed) & more

the cars

CARS CARS CARS

If you own or are in a car club that has pre 1985 cars, we’d love to hear from you !

If you sell retro clothes , we’d love to hear from you!

All cars are displayed in an open area on the circular paths at the foreshores, see below. This gives a spectacular vista & is ideal for anyone, including those with restricted movement or in wheel chairs, to easily view all the vehicles.  You MUST nominate in writing PRIOR to the event. john_.logan@jlent.com.au
